Wonderfoam starts with something pretty extraordinary: the bark of the Soapbark tree, a resilient evergreen native to the forests of Chile. For centuries, this remarkable tree has been valued for its natural foaming properties. We simply took nature’s clever trick and perfected it for cocktails.

Wonderfoam starts with the bark of the quillaia saponaria tree, a resilient evergreen native to Chile. For centuries, this remarkable tree has been valued for its natural foaming properties.
Its bark contains naturally occurring compounds called saponins, which create the silky, stable foam that makes every pour feel like magic.
Ethically Sourced
Good foam starts with good stewardship.
Our quillaia extract is harvested in Chile under strict sustainability quotas, with every lot approved by CONAF and overseen by the Chilean Ministry of Agriculture.
CONAF, the forestry management group of Chile, allocates up to 35% of the total biomass in a 5 year period to harvesters. Branches and limbs are cut to allow trees to regenerate, ensuring a steady and consistent supply in the future. Producers actively work with NGOs, to endorse programs that nurse saplings for reforesting Quillaia over time.
Gentle by Nature
Minimal processing. Maximum performance.
Once harvested, the bark, whole wood and pruning materials are processed locally in Chile using a gentle water extraction method that preserves the natural structure of the saponins.
Wet chips are repurposed for use in boilers to generate power for the plant. The liquid extract then undergoes filtration, purification, concentration and sterilisation.
